03What is the difference between LITE and FULL PACK?

LITE covers the classic register: touch POS, catalogue, payments (cash + card), fiscal receipts, offline mode, basic analytics, up to 3 cashiers. FULL PACK adds the complete suite: multi-site, server pad, kitchen KDS, self-service kiosk, e-commerce + Click & Collect, Deliveroo / UberEats / Takeaway connectors, loyalty programme, REST API. Most hospitality venues upgrade to FULL PACK in their second year.

04Should I choose monthly rental or a licence purchase?

Both are available: LITE rental at 24,90 €/month, FULL PACK rental at 89 €/month. Lifetime licence purchase: LITE 799 €, FULL 1 599 €. Purchase is interesting if you want full control of your long-term cost. Rental is better to get started or for seasonal activity. An optional support package (19,90 €/month billed annually, or 199 €/year one-time with two months free) is available for purchased licences.

05Can Central POS be deployed outside Europe?

Yes. The multi-region cloud architecture allows deployment anywhere in the world (US, UK, MENA, APAC, LATAM). Native multi-currency, multi-language, multi-timezone. For each country we adapt local payment methods and applicable fiscal requirements — let's discuss to scope your project.

06How does Central POS handle fiscal compliance in each country?

The architecture is designed from day one for international fiscal requirements: chained SHA-256 signatures, long-term archiving, automatic daily Z-reports, immutable audit log, read/write log separation. For each market we adapt to local standards together with your accountant or your tax authority. Contact us to assess applicable compliance for your country.

07Which payment methods are supported?

Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Payconiq, Digiteal, meal vouchers (Sodexo, Edenred, Monizze), gift cards. Integrated mode via the Clever Finance terminal AND stand-alone mode if you keep your existing terminal.

08Is there an offline mode for network outages?

Yes, full offline mode on all POS modules. All transactions are stored locally on the device and synced as soon as 4G/Wi-Fi is back. No transaction loss. Ideal for food trucks, festivals, rural areas.

09Do I need to buy hardware or can I use my own?

If you are already equipped (tablet, touch screen, receipt printer, cash drawer), Central POS installs directly on your compatible hardware. If you start from scratch, an optional hardware pack at 990 € includes a touch screen, a mechanical cash drawer and an Epson printer. The pack is independent from the software modules and remains optional.

10How long does a migration from another software take?

1 to 2 weeks for a standard single-site, 4 to 6 weeks for a 10+ site chain. Assisted migration included for new FULL PACK customers. No service interruption: parallel install, switch over one evening after closing.

11How does customer support work?

LITE: business-hours email support (FR/NL/EN/DE). FULL PACK: email + phone, 24-hour business SLA. For purchased licences, the optional Support package (19,90 €/month billed annually, or 199 €/year one-time) includes technical support, continuous major updates and fiscal compliance assistance once certified. Team based in the EU.
